Alexander Lowell is legal counsel for Kayne Anderson’s real estate group, responsible for providing legal oversight to the real estate debt platform.
Prior to joining Kayne Anderson in 2026, Lowell was a senior associate in the real estate finance group at Polsinelli, representing national banks, investment banks, debt funds, institutional lenders and borrowers in all aspects of commercial real estate finance, including term loans, construction loans, warehouse lending, and loan assumptions, modifications and refinancings. Lowell previously practiced real estate finance at Reed Smith and Akerman.
Lowell earned a B.A. from the University of Maryland, College Park and a J.D., cum laude, from Pace University School of Law. Lowell is admitted to practice law in California and Florida.
