Nursultan Utkelbayev is a records coordinator for Kayne Anderson’s real estate group, providing legal support through document management, maintains organizational records, oversees entity formation, and assists with regulatory filings.
Prior to joining Kayne Anderson in 2025, Utkelbayev accumulated over 10 years of experience in corporate law, regulatory compliance and legal advisory in multiple jurisdictions. Utkelbayev served as a law clerk at the Illinois Attorney General’s Office from 2023 to 2024, assisting attorneys with government defense and civil-trial litigation. Prior roles also include more than two years as in-house counsel at the pharmaceutical company Santo, and nearly seven years at PwC Legal Kazakhstan, advising clients on corporate, M&A and contract law matters.
Utkelbayev holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in American Law from Chicago-Kent College of Law. Utkelbayev also earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in international law from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
