Nishant Bakaya is a senior managing director in Kayne Anderson’s real estate group, responsible for direct and platform level investments.
Prior to joining Kayne Anderson in 2024, Bakaya spent over 20 years in senior roles at firms including UBS, Evercore and CA Ventures. Bakaya has closed over $50 billion of transactions in a variety of sub-sectors including student housing, senior housing, office, medical office, industrial, retail, life sciences, data centers, self-storage and lodging.
Bakaya has a B.A. in economics from Franklin & Marshall College and an M.B.A from the University of Chicago.
