Brian Lessans is a director on the acquisitions team for Kayne Anderson’s real estate group, responsible for origination, analysis, underwriting, financing, deal structuring, and execution of acquisitions, dispositions, and developments.
Prior to rejoining Kayne Anderson in 2021, Lessans spent over ten years in commercial real estate acquisitions and banking, including his prior tenure with Kayne Anderson Real Estate from 2015 – 2020. His recent experience includes two years as vice president at Artemis Real Estate Partners, focusing on the growth and management of their healthcare platform. Prior to joining Kayne Anderson Real Estate in 2015, Lessans worked in banking for KeyBank Real Estate Capital.
Lessans earned a B.B.A. in Finance and Business Law from the University of Miami and an M.P.S. in Real Estate Finance from Georgetown University.
